Swimming and Diving Salute Five Seniors

BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and swimming and diving program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer Connor Hartup, All-OAC performer Kayla McClintock, All-OAC performer Julia Newbould, Emily Newcamp and All-OAC performer Bella Ratino on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University. Their hard work, dedication and commitment to the program is evident, and is greatly appreciated. These young men and women have had solid careers not only athletically but academically as well. In addition, they have provided outstanding leadership and helped in setting the BW standard.

The University also would like to thank their parents and guardians for their loyalty and support. Tonight, we also honor your hard work, commitment, and dedication as well. The University administration, faculty and staff would like to wish all of you great success in all your future endeavors.

Connor Hartup is a business analytics graduate major from Westlake, Ohio and a graduate of Westlake High School. He earned his four-year varsity letter this winter. Hartup is the son of Dana and Ellen Hartup of Westlake.

 

 

 

 

 

Kayla McClintock is a human resource management major from Venetia, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Peters Township High School. She is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference freestyler that earned her fourth varsity letter this winter. McClintock is daughter of Joe and Laurie McClintock of Venetia.

 

 

 

 

 

Julia Newbould is a psychology major from Strongsville, Ohio, and a graduate of Strongsville High School. She is an All-Ohio Athletic Conference freestyler that earned her third varsity letter this winter. Newbould is the daughter of Tom and Bonnie Newbould of Strongsville.

 

 

 

 

  

Emily Newcamp is a communications sciences and disorders major from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and a graduate of North Hills High School. She is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer that earn her fourth varsity letter this winter. Newcamp is the daughter of Gray and Dianne Newcamp of Pittsburgh.

 

 

 

 

 

Bella Ratino is a marketing and management and innovation double major from Mentor, Ohio and a graduate of Hawken High School. She is a four-time Ohio Athletic Conference champion and a nine-time All-OAC freestyler that earned her fourth varsity letter this winter. Ratino is the school record-holder in the 400-yard individual medley, 500-yard freestyle and 1650-yard freestyle. Her favorite BW swimming memories are the Florida trip this year with some of her now closest friends as well as winning the 500- and 1650-yard freestyle OAC championships in back-to-back years as freshman and sophomore. Ratino is the daughter of Jeff and Maria Ratino of Mentor.

 

 

 

Baldwin Wallace again would like to thank Connor, Kayla, Julia, Emily and Bella as well as their parents and guardians for all of their hard work, dedication and commitment to the Yellow Jacket Swimming Program. Your efforts have truly made a difference on campus, on deck and in the pool.

The University also would like to wish each of you all the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that you come back and visit us often. You will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).
