ESPN Coming to Berea to Talk to BW Legend Dillard for The Undefeated

BEREA, Ohio – Tomorrow, Thursday, May 26, a film crew from ESPN will come to Berea and Baldwin Wallace University to speak with the most celebrated male athlete in school history, four-time Olympic gold medalist Harrison Dillard ‘49, for its upcoming series entitled “The Undefeated”.

Dillard, a BW, Greater Cleveland, U.S. Track & Field and Olympic hall of famer, was undefeated in his two Olympic appearances in London, England  in 1948 and Helsinki, Finland in 1952.  He is still the only male olympian to win gold in both the 100-meter dash and 110-meter high hurdles. His additionally won gold as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team at each Olympiad.  The road to his success is a “Cindrella Story” all by itself.
